Cruise Trek 2010: "The Mediterranean Gateway"
Sail 10 days & 9 nights // October 19 ~ October 28, 2010: Lisbon, Portugal and Casablanca, Morocco! All reservations, requests, and changes must be made in writing. Please allow 4-8 weeks for processing of payments. Your canceled check is your proof of payment. To be confirmed on the cruise, we must have a fully completed Reservation Form along with your deposit. Passengers will receive cabin assignment upon receipt of cruise/travel documents. What’s included? Your accommodations, food, entertainment, Trek activities, cocktail party, PJ party, kid's programs provided by the ship, photo sessions, autographed photos of our stars, commemorative Shirts, Q & A and interaction with our special guests and more! The below cruise only rates are per person – Make your deposit early and receive a one category complimentary upgrade (i/s to i/s, o/s to o/s, b to b; suites excluded) and an additional $50 off if your entire cruise is paid by check. Plus, an additional $50pp off per CT Past Passenger will apply if cruise is paid by check. All these discounts are combinable and expire November 30, 2009. The earlier you book the better the cabin choices; all based upon availability.
Connecting cabins are available on a request basis. Almost every category can accommodate 3 or 4 passengers. The 3rd "triple" and/or 4th "quad" passenger(s) occupying the same cabin with 2 others are $699pp additional and not discountable. The Trek Share Program has "TS" rates and "PC" (Physically Challenged) that are available in the categories noted above. (Port fees, taxes, prepaid gratuities and fuel surcharge if applicable are additional.) Discounts for non Trek event attendee are available – please contact our office. (& important fine print) The following information will help you book your Cruise Trek Adventure properly and with minimal effort. Please read all the information carefully before completing the reservation form. You will be receiving periodic Cruise Trek Updates, which will keep you informed on all the breaking news for your Cruise Trek Adventure. Approximately 2 to 4 weeks prior to sailing, your cruise document letter & E-doc information will be sent to you. In this package will be a guide that includes information on what to pack, a list of available shore excursions and prices, phone numbers for the ship, and much more. We will also send you a “document letter” which will explain the pertinent details and, of course, which cast members and behind the scenes personnel will be sailing with Cruise Trek. All guests are subject to change and future announcements will be made when available. Please know that possible changes will occur with celebrities – so unlike other event producers we don't announce this list too early as we don't want to disappoint anyone. But if you want an idea – please feel free to contact us . . . and anyway most all CT Past passengers think the actors are the "icing on the cake" for an absolutely fun & invigorating adventure! Cabin prices vary by the category and type of accommodations you select. There are inside cabins (no window), outside cabins (with window, porthole or balcony) and several different choices of Mini-Suites and Full Suites (both with verandah/balcony). (I) TWO PERSONS SHARING SAME CABIN: Double occupancy means two passengers share one cabin. (II) TRIPLE AND QUAD OCCUPANCY: If three or four people wish to share the same cabin, they may book under this plan. These rates are the most economical. One person may collect all the monies and send them in at one time with each person’s name or they can be sent individually. Please let us know if you would like one invoice or individual invoices (provide appropriate addresses). The first two passengers pay the double occupancy rate then the 3rd and/or 4th passenger(s) pay the 3rd/4th rate. Divide the total by 3 or 4 and get the per person cabin cost. (III) TREK SHARE (TS) FARES: This plan is for Trek passengers who are sailing on Cruise Trek by themselves and wish to share a cabin with another. Specify the TS category of your choice and indicate the occupancy you desire. Be sure to check the box that says Trek Share. You will be matched with members of the same sex. Trek Share cabin assignments will be done at the time of issuance only (and subject to change). Trek fans that smoke are not to do so in the cabin unless fellow roommates permit it. We will try to match you with others of similar age whenever possible. If you have a condition that would prevent you from climbing a small ladder to the upper berth, you’ll have to work this out with your fellow cabin mates upon boarding. Most fans are understanding/cooperative. If this is a concern, please book plans I or IV. TS fares are not applicable for/with children. (IV) SINGLE OCCUPANCY: This is for those of you who wish to solely occupy a cabin. Pricing is 200% of the applicable PP fare. Port, taxes and gratuities vary per cabin category and/or are slightly higher per single accommodation passengers. (V) PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED (PC): There are a limited number of specially equipped cabins for the physically challenged. Bathrooms for PC cabins may have shower only. If needed be sure to request such ASAP. CHILDREN’S DISCOUNT/RATE: Children (3-10) pay $200 less and 11 to 17 pay $100 less. EBD & PP discounts are not available on these rates. PORT CHARGES, TAXES, FUEL S.C. & Gratuities: Port charges/taxes and prepaid gratuities ($10pppd) are additional. They are a combined total of $321 per person and more for single occupancy. Adjustments are made for children under 17. All are subject to change. Currently there is no fuel surcharge. However, this would be additional if added by the cruise line. PAYMENT INFORMATION: There is a foreign booking charge of $75 per foreign residence or APO address ($45 per Canadian residence). Payments may be made by check, money order or major credit card – Visa, Master Card and American Express. Checks are to be made payable to Cruise Trek, in US dollars only, and drawn on a US bank. Sorry, no exceptions. There is a $25 charge for returned checks. Any fees or charges related to check or wire payments will be charged back to your invoice. PERSONAL PAYMENT PLAN: For your convenience, we will be offering a payment plan with no service charge. To figure your own plan, simply deduct your deposit from your total amount due, and then divide the balance by the number of months remaining before the full payment date. The payment plan is flexible. For instance, you may either double or triple up on payments or skip a few months. Or you may devise your own plan. If you would like to take advantage of our “Auto Pay Plan” simply fill out the payment coupons (they will be sent with your original invoice) and return them to the Cruise Trek office with the plan of your choice. We will process these each month. All pricing is in US Dollars. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE July 1, 2010. You can still book after these dates – but, pricing may have increased and/or availability is very limited if not sold out. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, INSURANCE AND CHANGES: If you should cancel outside of one year to sailing or after booking, a $100 per person cancellation fee will be assessed; Between 12 and 9 months prior $200 per person, between 9 months and 6 months, $300 per person, between 6 months and the final payment date the amount of the deposit will be assessed, no refunds after full payment due date. Also, after full payment due date, all invoices will be subject to at least a minimum charge of $50 per person for any changes. To protect against cancellation penalties, Trip & Cancellation Interruption insurance is available and strongly recommended. As a requirement of the Cruise Trek Program, the signed Insurance waiver (will accompany your invoice) is due in the Cruise Trek office upon receipt of your invoice and no later than time of full payment due date. Travel documents will not be released and your booking is subject to cancellation unless we receive this waiver. Acceptance of all terms and conditions is deemed approved upon passenger deposit. IDENTIFICATION & CHECK IN REQUIREMENTS: Passports are required. Please make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months after completion of your cruise. Non-US citizens residing in the United States will need valid Alien Registration (green) cards. Non-US citizens must have valid passports and any required visas. All travel documents such as passports, visas, proof of citizenship, etc., that are required for embarkation, and debarkation at the ports of call and reentry into your country of residence are the responsibility of the passenger. All citizens are asked to please check with government agencies, embassies or consulates to determine documentary requirements. Your proof of citizenship must be presented before boarding the ship. You may be denied boarding without proper identification and cancellation fees apply. Advance registration & pre-board check in online is required. AIRFARE: Airfare can be arranged through the cruise line as well. However, we recommend you try booking your own airfare as the cruise line fares are more than likely higher than what you can find independently and/or they may not have the best of air schedules: Online travel sites such as Travelocity.com, Expedia.com, or Travelzoo.com are excellent resources. If you have a good air agent, use him or her – they are invaluable. However, please do not hesitate to call the Cruise Trek office for more clarification on airfares if needed.
