Please join us in sailing from Genoa, Italy – the birthplace of Christopher Columbus – you could also go see his cottage home in the hills of Savona! Then come see the best kept secret in all of Europe – Via Garibaldi in Genoa is “. . . such a romantic street, the cobblestone, the musicians playing, Baroque palaces and the quaint little shops as only Italy can do!” Piazza de Ferrari, the main square, is home to the Palace of the Doges and the Teatro Carlo Felice; the birthplace of Christopher Columbus is nearby. Acquario di Genova, Europe's biggest acquarium, is a must-see. Then there is Portofino – if you only see it for a moment – this perfectly picturesque Italian beauty will be permanently implanted in your mind.
After a very fun Trek-filled day at sea, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the premiere city of the Costa del Sol – Malaga, Spain – the birthplace of Picasso. Next is Casablanca for a Moroccan adventure where European citizens or any traveler will feel immediately at home in what is considered essentially the capital of Morocco – explore the great bazaar, the fanciful Mauresque buildings and medinas. And then on to Cadiz, Lisbon, Valencia and Barcelona – there is just not enough room here to describe all the opportunities for an amazing trip!
